Judy Carrol

Judy Carroll, our comptroller and office manager, is originally from the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Lame Deer, Montana. Her Indian grandmother gave her the Indian name “Vigseha,” meaning “Bird Woman.” She attended MacMormac Junior College in Chicago, Illinois on a Bureau of Indian Affairs grant and graduated with a degree in court reporting. She then practiced court reporting in Joliet, Illinois for twenty years before entering into the world of accounting. Her 25 years of experience in administrative and human resources positions have equipped her with expansive knowledge and invaluable insight that she now offers to RhibaCom.

As is typical in the Native American culture, after such a long quest in reaching her true calling and at the urging of the current management team, she changed her Indian name to “Whopping Hammer.” She continues to live up to her name, looking forward to the days where she is encouraged to use all the tools she has gathered and bring out the mighty mallet to bring about a meeting of the minds to address whatever situation may be at hand. As RhibaCom’s comptroller and office manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the administrative staff in all our operating cities. She is responsible for all accounts receivable and payable, ensures timely processing of all service and construction work orders, maintains contracts, vendor relations, and the integrity of all business related materials, and assists the human resources department.

Her philosophy in work, as in her life, is to always do the best job she possible can, always go above and beyond, learn from the mistakes made along the way, and eventually you will be rewarded for your efforts. Judy is motivated by the appreciation she receives for the contributions she makes to the company.

When looking to add members to the RhibaCom family in her department, Judy looks for people who have good basic skills and not necessarily a lot of experience. She looks forward to the opportunity to hone someone’s skills to best serve the individual’s success at RhibaCom. She looks forward to seeing employees grow into their positions and encourages creativity and bringing new ideas to the table. She believes everybody can be the next diamond in the rough.

Judy has chosen RhibaCom because of the family-like work culture present here. She describes and tries to reinforce the work environment that exudes openness and care while encouraging personal, professional, and of course company growth. She believes personality plays an undeniable part in business and appreciates how the company encourages employees to show what they can do while in turn working to keep them mentally engaged and in the family.
